Katherine Elaine Soucie (born February 20, 1967) is an American voice actress, whose roles include Janine Melnitz in The Real Ghost Busters, Ingrid Krueger in Jem, Cindy Bear in the Hanna-Barbera shows Wake, Rattle and Roll and Yo Yogi!, Fifi La Fume in Tiny Toon Adventures, Dexter's Mom in Dexter's Laboratory, Linka in Captain Planet and the Planeteers, the DeVille twins and their Mom in Rugrats and Ray Ray Lee in The Life and Times of Juniper Lee.

Career[]

Kath Soucie is a prolific Los Angeles-based voice actress, with over 25 years in the business. She began her career in New York as a theatrical actress, followed by featured roles in episodic television and movies of the week, out of Los Angeles. Endowed with a natural talent for voices and characterizations, she has become one of the top voiceover actors working today. Her professionalism and versatility have created a steady demand for her talents.

An underrated role she played was Princess Sally Acorn in the Sonic SatAM TV series. She also voiced Sally's handheld computer, Nicole.

Following the enormous success of Nickelodeon's animated feature film The Rugrats Movie, she then started recording her roles of Phil, Lil and Betty in the theatrical sequels, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie and Rugrats Go Wild.

One of her roles was crafting the voice for the coveted role of Lola Bunny, the animated character created for the Warner Bros. live-action/animated film Space Jam. She would later voice the character in again in the Direct-to-DVD film "Tweety's High Flying Adventure" and in video games. Some of her other animated feature film work includes the role of Annabel in Ralph Edward's Annabels Wish, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars, Third Stone From The Sun and The Little Engine That Could. No stranger to primetime, Kath has voiced three regular characters for the Warner Bros. primetime series Baby Blues and the lead voice of Andy in Carsey-Werner's eagerly awaited God, the Devil and Bob,Kath Soucie is a best known for Lola Bunny descandant Lexi Bunny.

Among her other roles: Mike Young Productions' Clifford the Big Red Dog, Kino Films' Mike, Lu & Og, Stardust Entertainment's Stevie Stardust, Ubisoft's Rayman and Insomniac Games' Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando.

She can also be heard as a series regular on Cartoon Network's Dexter's Laboratory, Disney's The Weekenders, 101 Dalmatians: The Series, Pepper Ann, Recess, Jungle Cubs, Quack Pack and Gargoyles, Nickelodeon's Rugrats and Hey Arnold!, DreamWorks' Invasion America and Toonsylvania, Universal's The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper, Earthworm Jim and The Savage Dragon, HBO's late-night animated Spawn, Warner International's Sinbad, Porchlight Entertainment's Adventures from the Book of Virtues, The Spectacular Spider-Man, and Cubert Farnsworth in Futurama. Her vocals can also be heard on such Emmy Award-winning classics as Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Tiny Toon Adventures and The Critic.

She is credited with many award-winning commercials and can be heard on campaigns for Greyhound, AirTouch Cellular, Eckerd Drugs, PetCo and Southwestern Bell. She's quite talented with accents, as evidenced in The Replacements, Dial M For Monkey and Mike, Lu & Og, Tiny Toon Adventures, and Captain Planet and the Planeteers.

More recently, she's been heard as the villainous Nerissa in the second season of W.I.T.C.H., Maddie Fenton in Danny Phantom, Aerie in Baldur's Gate 2, Agent K in The Replacements, and the female Smuggler in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

  • Replaced Laura Summer as the voice of Janine Melnitz on The Real Ghostbusters animated series.
  • She was the original voice of Bubbles in the two shorts that were the basis for The Powerpuff Girls before Tara Strong took over the role for the series.
